I had the pleasure to visit the Broodthaers retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in 2016. As a very big fan of the Belgian artist, I wrote to some like-minded friends to create a Marcel Broodthaers Fanzine. I wrote a piece about his artist’s books and used the interview of Filip Noterdaeme made a couple of years before. With contributions by Farah Khelil, Joseph Imhauser, Katie Peyton, and a bootleg copy of my favourite of his artist’s books Magie, as I made this in the US, I changed the format of this work from the European A5 to the American half letter.

En 2016, j’ai eu le plaisir de visiter la rétrospective de Marcel Broodthaers. En tant que fan de l’artiste belge, j’ai décidé d’écrire à quelques amis pour qu’ils contribuent au Marcel Broodthaers Fanzine. J’y ai écrit un article sur ses livres d’artistes, et j’ai utilisé une interview de Filip Noterdaeme fait quelques années auparavant. Des contributions de Farah Khelil, Joseph Imhauser, Katie Peyton, accompagne une version pirate du livre Magie. Puisque je l’ai imprimé aux USA, j’ai converti le format du livre du format A5 à l’équivalent américain, le half letter.
